I have a really hard time wearing light colors, especially when my skin is still pasty from the long sunless winter. That being said, here I am wearing black jeans and [another] olive high-low top. Surprise! Anyone else have a hard time stepping out of their comfort zone when it comes to fashion? Or even straying away from a certain color palate? This girl wears black jeans almost every day and hasn’t worn a single piece of gold jewelry in almost 3 years. What can I say? I like what I like.

This “Spring Look” is really more of a “Fall Look”…As we transition into spring, I solemnly swear I will try my very best to buy lighter colors. But I’m sure I will inevitably come home with a new wardrobe full of black and olive, and more black– because after all we are creatures of habit.

I’m also sporting my beloved beanie that I scored at Hot Topic last year. I’m not a regular at Hot Topic, but they have perfected the slouchy beanie, and so they get my business. This wonderful hat has saved me many times. Mostly during my senior year of college when I went a full 7 days without washing my hair. That’s right guys, 7 full days of dirty, disgusting hair. I was trying to “train” my hair to become less greasy before I tried this Baking Soda Treatment. Unfortunately, my hair skips trendy Kristen Stewart dirty hair and goes straight to “Dude is your hair wet?” dirty hair. Yuck. Needless to say the baking soda shampoo didn’t work out, and I wear beanies to cover up my dirty hair. There….The secrets out.

P.s. Anyone who thinks beanie season is on it’s way out: you are wrong! It’s not out, it’s forever in. It’s OK to wear beanies year-round. I PROMISE. I’ll be wearing mine too. We can match. <3

I bet if you dressed me I’d venture out of my comfort zone. Now, can you seriously dress me? Lol

Great post as always! I could live in black and olive. Oh wait, I do. And that last pic of you… sex
