Halfway to the Moon

I have been searching for the perfect pair of vintage sunnies ever since my old ones left me. I brought them to a PHiSH concert last summer and of course I haven’t seen them since. I can only assume they left me for a cooler, younger, more stylish day trippin’ gal. They’re probably halfway to the moon by now… sippin’ beers, hopping from show to show, outshining all the other sunglasses… Protecting some tramp’s eyes while I’m over here rocking f-ing giveaway glasses with neon sides. [ew] Anyways, my sunnies flew the coup and I’ve been mourning the loss every since.

Thank god the ratty haired boy working at American Apparel wearing overall shorts, and KEDS [yes, i said KEDS] pointed these lovely frames out to me. And bless his little heart because I’ve been swooning over them all week– and probably will for months to come.. Or until I break them, lose them or god forbid they leave me again.

This is a pretty typical outfit for me. I’m kind of a plain jane when it comes to everyday fashion. I wear black jeans and an olive top at least 1 out of every 2.5 weekdays. I’m also sporting my silver necklace combo [always 2 chainz]– and my new, old DIY ripped jeans; I found these loser pants in the back of my closet and repurposed them for the greater good. — Cheers.
