This year’s Summerdance Music Festival turned out to be another smashing good time. It was a blissful weekend filled with great weather, laughs and altogether silliness. Not to mention swimming, cliff jumping, Lotus, and LOTS of PBR.
Summerdance Music Festival is hosted at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park; a scenic camping spot with quartz and sandstone cliffs, and woodland as far as the eye can see. It is a hidden gem in the camping and festival realm. A peaceful spot with– dare I say THE chillest vibes…. Throughout the weekend we frolicked through the forests and danced our way back to another century.
I try to stay true to my boho-70’s-style at all times but at festivals, it truly thrives. Any sense of “normality” is gone with the wind and my gypsy soul sets sail to the sky. The hair gets ratty, the clothes get flowy, and the Stevie Nicks style comes out in full flare [all hail the queen]. I was finally able to wear this white lace tunic I’ve been hoarding since May. I paired it with a vintage turquoise head scarf and a silver statement necklace from Wanderlust-Fashion.
Summerdance festival was the perfect way to end an incredible summer. I’ll be mourning summer fashion for about five seconds [as a courtesy] since the weather is finally changing. As we turn the page on summer and our beloved festival season, we can count on Autumn for a new slew of adventures and a ton of fresh fall looks. I am so pumped! Who’s with me!? xx
